Calling all young Catford South Runners

Do you want to take part in this year’s Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon on Sunday 24th April 2016? If you do and you want to represent Lewisham you must be at least 11 years old on the 24th April 2016 (born between 1 September 2002 and 24 April 2005) and under 17 years old (born between 1 September 1998 and 31 August 2000). You MUST also register to take part in the Lewisham Trials by clicking here.

The Lewisham borough Trials will be on:
Date: Saturday 19th March 2016 at
Time: Registration from 8.30am
Location: Ladywell Arena, Silvermere Road, Catford SE6 4QX

The first race will start at 09.30am, therefore, it is imperative you arrive at the Arena no later than 9.00am to be signed in.

    First race – Under 13s – starts 9.30am
    Second race – Under 15s – starts 9.50am
    Third race – Under 17s – starts 10.00am

You can only represent the London borough you live*, were born or go to school in.

The Lewisham Teams that go forward to the actual Marathon on Sunday 24th April 2016 will comprise of six athletes per age group. .

WHICH AGE CATEGORY DO I FALL INTO
The categories are the same as British Athletics age groupings. Please see the list below to see which age group you belong to

Boys and Girls – Under 13
Must be at least 11 years old on 24 April 2016
Born between 1 September 2002 and 24 April 2005

Boys and Girls – Under 15
Born between 1 September 2000 and 31 August 2002

Boys and Girls – Under 17
Born between 1 September 1998 and 31 August 2000

Deadline to register for the Lewisham Trials:
Monday 14 March 2016

Bit of small print below…
* If an athlete is eligible to run for one or more London boroughs, and one or more team manager wants to select said athlete for their team. The athlete should run for the borough they
live in, which will take priority over school, and birth place.
