FREE Activities announced for 2017 – Corbett Community Library Torridon Road

We are delighted to let you know that a number of new FREE activities have been announced at the Corbett Community Library, Arts and Heritage Centre
From Jan 9th the ARCHIBALD CORBETT COMMUNITY LIBRARY, ARTS & HERITAGE CENTRE will be running a wider range of activities/groups for seniors. (over 50s ish…)

Activity: Reminiscence Group
Dates: 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Time: 11am – 12.30.
A friendly & relaxed established group – welcoming to newcomers & led by Joan & Sophie – 2 of our amazing volunteers.

Activity: Creative Writing & Poetry Group – ‘The Torridon Writers’
Dates: 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month
Time: 10.30 – 12.30
Well established & welcoming, run by Jill Jenkins, ex-teacher & lovely!

Activity: Gentle Seated Yoga
Dates: every Thursday
Time: 11.30 – 12.15
A new group, run by Ntathu Allen, experienced & qualified Yoga teacher, lovely & gentle!

Activity: Knit’n’Natter
Dates: every Thursday
Time: 1.30 – 2.30
Led by Joan – all welcome, no previous experience necessary – just come & meet or make friends & chill, chat’n’knit!

WE WILL VERY SOON BE OPENING OUR COFFEE, TEA & HOT CHOCOLATE BAR! These will be at v reasonable prices & to complete your enjoyment of the Library.

Tuesdays, 4 – 5pm with Chantelle Vanya.
