COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER – WHITEFOOT WARD (MATERNITY COVER, 20 HOURS PER WEEK)
An exciting opportunity to work with the community of Whitefoot Ward in Lewisham. The Community Development Worker post is funded by the London Borough of Lewisham, the main purpose is to carry out community development work which meets the needs of North Downham and Whitefoot ward including the development and production of appropriate policies, strategies, securing funding and fostering partnerships.
The post-holder will be employed by Goldsmiths Community Association and will work with the Board of Trustees, centre staff and local partners to help shape the future for the wider community in Whitefoot Ward.
The appointed post-holder will be covering maternity leave bringing experience of community development work to the post. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success, and the essential enthusiasm and commitment required to extend the work of the Association beyond the walls of the Centre.
This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract to start week of Monday 21st January
