Good Food Catford

A community-centered grocery store & deli successfully raised £32,089 through crowd funding and other sources. Two thirds of that was raised through 342 pledges from members of the community.

Good Food believes the whole community should have access to local fresh nutritious food and will be linking with local food banks like the Whitefoot and Downham Food + project to provide recipe boxes – with a recipe card, ingredients for one whole meal with everything in it to make a seasonal/ healthy family dinner.

Vicky Skingley, a registered Nutritional Therapist with a passion for good, seasonal and local food believes that good nutrition should be accessible to all no matter what your budget.

As a community grocery, we will sell local produce including surplus vegetables grown in community gardens providing a revenue stream for them and lovely fresh local veg for locals.

The new shop will occupy an empty shop in Sandhurst Shopping Parade and plans to open in the New Year.
