You Spoke, We Listened, We Did Update on Aces Bar:

The licensing committee rejected the bar’s application for a variation of licence which was subject to an appeal which was also rejected. The premises has remained closed but still has a licence to trade as a restaurant.

We have carried out numerous licensing visits to premises within the ward as poorly run premises causes ASB within the area. Breaches have been recorded and pawed to the licensing department and licence holders reminded of their responsibilities.
We received information from the ward regarding ASB in Greenside Close which included sex and drug using in cars. We made targeted patrols in the area which culminated in a male being arrested for possession of a large hunters knife and two others being processed for possession of cannabis.

We also received information regarding ASB in Catford Retail Park. During these patrols we stopped and arrested a young male on what is believed to be a stolen Apollo Gradient black and green bike. If anyone knows the rightful owner we would like to return it.

Good News Story

Officers from Catford South executed a drugs warrant at Verdant Lane which resulted in the recovery and destruction of 359 cannabis plants, hydroponic equipment and drug related paraphernalia. Three men were arrested, two of whom were deported saving the cost of prosecution and housing while on bail.
