Please have a look at the first edition of the Lewisham Dement Action Alliance first Newsletter
26 organisations in Catford South pledged to join the Lewisham Dementia Action Alliance (LDAA). So far we have had the Diamond Club and Deptford Mission sign up to the LDAA which is fantastic. We are looking forward to welcoming the other 24 organisations in the very near future.
Signing up to the Lewisham Dementia Action alliance is a very important step in becoming and accredited Dementia Friendly Community – so please take half and our to sign up your organisation and come up with your 3 actions
Complete your application form for the Lewisham DAA
The form will initially ask you for some information about your organisation. It will then ask you for three actions that you as an organisation are committing to in order to become more dementia friendly.
In the packs that organisations received at the event in February, you should find examples of actions that you as an organisation might want to consider. There are also guides for businesses and faith groups to become more dementia friendly. You should also find an environmental checklist within the pack which can help you to review the physical environment of your organisation’s facilities and spaces.
Should you wish to have a look at some already completed actions plan of organisations similar to yours, you can check on the main Dementia Action Alliance website
