A grand summer of growth for Brownhill Road!

It has been a busy summer on Brownhill Road. The new garden at the Baptist Church was planted up in the spring and has settled in over summer. New planters, planted up with fountain grasses are currently standing proudly at the church entrances ready to greet the nursery school children as they return to class next week.

The garden started off the year with hundreds of daffodils and is ending it with a broad range of purples, mauves and pinks.

The bright yellow rudbekias also announce the upcoming autumn.

Tonnes of rubbish have been carted away-and the congregation have tended to it almost daily.  Problems with the water source have meant hundreds of buckets of water have been  carried from the church kitchens to keep the plants alive.  Their efforts have borne fruit as the garden is looking lovely in time for their end of summer party for the community.

Everyone is invited! Dates to come!
