  1. I know that people enjoy fireworks but I wish they weren’t so loud and sudden as my dog is petrified. I am just hoping to bring some awareness to people of how sensitive animals are to loud noises, especially fireworks. I understand the reason for the displays once or twice a year but I find the random burst of fireworks that go off sometimes to be the most distressing to my dog. I truely wish that people could see how it affects her and other animals and then maybe they would think twice about having private fireworks. As I write this my dog is trembling and has just jumped out of her skin at a bang that just went off. If this could be taken into consideration and a way could be discussed of handling this situation I would be very grateful.

    Thank you
